Jake Hilsabeck whipped up a great batch of french toast and bacon for breakfast, with a delicious strawberry glaze and bananas, powdered sugar and whipped cream.
After breakfast, a few of the WSU Group headed to Rock Point, Arizona, to meet with renowned traditional Navajo rug weaver Nita Nez and pick up a rug that was finished since she met the group last week. Several other rugs made by Nita's daughter-in-law, Clarissa Tsosie, were also purchased.
For dinner, the group ate at the combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, and then returned to the Diné College residence hall to relax and get ready for more interviews with Navajo elders on Monday.
The blog editor finally got caught up on his own photos and updated the blog post from the Canyon de Chelly visit with the Nave family on Saturday, and then posted this entry. The blog still needs to add many great photos by the students over the past few days.
